Search Licence 

PROCEDURE FOR ARMS LICENCES

Licences of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for NPB weapons may be issued to all individuals by the District Coordination Officer/Political Agent upon furnishing following documents

 

  • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
  • Application on prescribed arms licence form
  • Affidavit on stamp paper, worth Rs. 150
  • 2 number photographs
  • Prescribed fee; (Rs. 700/- for Rifle/Shotgun & Rs. 1500/- for pistol) 

 

Licence of NPB weapon shall be issued by the district authority, valid for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & FATA. Home Department, on recommendation of district authority, may extend the validity of licence to the whole of Pakistan. Fee @ Rs. 2000/- will be charged as extension of validity of licence fee. Rounds/Cartridges may be increased up to maximum 200 by the Home Department on recommendation of district authority. Fee @ Rs. 20/round shall be charged.

 

PROCEDURE FOR ALL PAKISTAN LICENCES:

Validity of NPB licences may be extended to other provinces by the Home department on recommendation of:

 

  • Concerned District Coordination Officer/Political Agent.
  • Commanding Officer, in case of army men

 

However all licences shall be routed through the D.C.O/P.A who have issued it. Each District/agency shall nominate a focal person to coordinate affairs of arms licences with Home Department.

Arms licences of NPB of other provinces will also be considered for extension of validity to whole of Pakistan subject to verification by a gazetted officer, Member of National Assembly, Senator or Member of Provincial Assembly.
